The TSBU is Oracle’s Technology Sales Business Unit with responsibility for selling Oracle Technology portfolio of products including Oracle database, middleware, security and software infrastructure management solutions into MEA SMB Markets specialized by industry.

The MEA Technology Sales Representative is a once in a life time opportunity for young and talented professionals with a goal to quickly grow and master IT sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts through the use of available resources and marketing in a specific territory and industry
• Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts.
• Being a member of an account team working to a joint plan and objectives by developing and delivering against the joint strategy with the channel’s field rep.
• Analyze customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying projects, scoping potential Oracle solutions and giving future product direction
• Responsible for building and managing sales pipeline
• Initiation of the sales cycle including calling opportunities Deliver web-based presentations and demonstrations for potential customers.
• Work closely with Oracle channel partner on market coverage and pipeline progression

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years sales experience in the IT market
• Expertise in demand generation in new markets from campaign conception to deal closure
• Degree or Post Grad in Business, IT, Engineering or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English language is a essential
• Fluency in Afrikaans is nice to have to support South African markets.

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong sales and marketing skills, business justification and closing
