Job Description:
- You will be responsible for leading the Malaysian site Manufacturing/Operations and Management team, including Production, Engineering, Technical, Supply Chain, Process, , HR and Accountancy
- You will act to develop and implement the site strategy and contribute to the delivery of the business goals, ensuring timely manufacturing of plastic product under a Total Quality Management environment.
- Key responsibilities include generating new business, improving site efficiencies through the championing of continuous developments and enhancing performance in line with the site strategy and business goals.
- The role-holder will have full accountability for the site P & L account and follow a pro-active industrial and employee relations agenda.
- Ready to take other duties / projects / responsibilities as and when assigned.
Skills Required:
15 years of progressive managerial experience as General Manager / Operations Manager rnPreferably candidates with engineering background rnProven knowledge of multi layer film, process / bag making rnExperience of polymers for various application rnTenacity and a can do attitude rnGood communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills required rnStrong sense of business acumen, strong organizational and time management skills as well as general computer skills rnProven leadership skills that is able to lead a team to achieve business objectives rnExcellent in written and spoken English
